By accessing or using the Sneak Peep Avian DNA Lab website (www.sneakpeepdna.com) or placing an order for any of our testing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Sneak Peep Avian DNA Lab provides mail-in avian DNA testing services, including but not limited to: Avian DNA Sex Testing, Chicken Blue Egg Gene Testing, and Chicken Recessive White Gene Testing.

Our testing is performed using PCR-based genomic analysis on blood samples submitted by customers. Results are provided for informational and breeding purposes only.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD). By placing an order, you agree to pay the listed price for the selected test(s).

Payment is accepted via Interac e-Transfer to [email protected] or by cheque made payable to Sneak Peep Avian DNA Lab. Orders are not processed until payment is received and confirmed.

Please include your order number and bird name as the e-transfer reference. Failure to include this information may delay processing.

We do not store credit card or banking information. All payment transactions are handled directly between you and your financial institution.

Customers are responsible for collecting and mailing samples in accordance with our Sample Submission Guide available at /submit. Samples must be blood samples collected using the nail-clip method as described.

We are not responsible for samples that are lost, damaged, or rendered untestable due to improper collection, packaging, or shipping. In such cases, a new sample submission will be required.

By submitting a sample, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the bird(s) being tested, or that you have the owner's explicit permission to submit samples for testing.

We reserve the right to refuse or return samples that do not meet our submission requirements.

Our PCR-based DNA testing achieves an accuracy rate of 99.9%+ under standard conditions. However, no laboratory test is 100% infallible. Results may be affected by sample quality, contamination, or rare genetic variants.

Results are provided for informational and breeding management purposes only. They are not intended to constitute veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

Results are delivered to the account holder's registered email address and are accessible through the customer account dashboard. We aim to deliver results within 24–48 hours of receiving a viable sample.

We are not liable for any decisions made based on test results, including but not limited to breeding decisions, sales, or culling of birds.

Orders may be cancelled and a full refund issued if the request is made before the sample has been received at our lab. Once a sample has been received and processing has begun, no refund will be issued.

If a sample is received but is untestable due to quality issues (insufficient blood, contamination, improper storage), we will notify you and request a replacement sample at no additional charge. If a replacement sample cannot be provided, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion.

Refunds are processed via the original payment method (e-transfer or cheque) within 5–10 business days of approval.

To place an order and access your results, you must create an account on our website. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for an extended period.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Sneak Peep Avian DNA Lab and is protected by applicable Canadian and international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our express written permission.

Test certificates and result reports issued to customers are for personal use only and may not be resold or used for commercial purposes without our consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sneak Peep Avian DNA Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of animals.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific test(s) giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the province in which Sneak Peep Avian DNA Lab operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that province.
